i think it depends on what surgery your dog is having and what area the dog needs to stay away from ... i bought the blue one thinking it the best but my dog could get at her incision with that one ... the black one, dogs can also get around those if seriously motivated ... i personally hate the plastic one but sometimes they are appropriate ... and if you get the plastic one, the vet will provide (for a fee of course) ...
