Does anyone have some goods tip to play better defense in soccer?
Does anyone know some tips to help me play better defense in soccer? I play defensive mid and sometimes defensive back. Some tips you could give would be how to contain offensive players, steal or takeaway the ball, clear the ball better, and how to improve on throw ins.

key thing, listen to your keeper. If you have a good keeper, they will help you by yelling what they want you to do or cover. when playing defense, the best thing to do, besides actually stealing the ball, is getting their head to drop. Square up to them, dont get too close at first but never let them go to the middle of the field. Clear it out immediately. Stay in front and square at all times. um dont know how to explain the rest of it, but for throw ins, if you have no options, throw down the line. good luck!
